Red face so I'm going to Disney....

...and my entire family is crawling out of their skin excited. Me; not so much. I worry like a lunatic about my horses, and it impedes my fun! Talk me out of this please.

Sorry - I love Disney World. We go every year or so.
Do you have a good support system to care for your horses?
I find that cell phones are your friend. I just tell the vet-
    do whatever he needs to.
Where are you staying? We have pretty much stayed at
    every resort category- from Dolphin/Swan/Yacht&Beach/Boardwalk
Port Orleans/AllStar and probably others I have forgotten.

Come on, Disney is the BEST! You can pat the gorgeous drafties that pull the trolley on Main Street. They have really cool polyurethane shoes - super-shock-absorbing for their legs. Last time I was there they had a pair of Belgians and I think a pair of Percherons.

Disney is wonderful; we're going this year too. It would be a terrible pity if you could not enjoy the magic because of worries over the horses.

What is the basis of the worries? Is there something we can all brainstorm about that would reasure you?

My home *support system* is a bit in flux right now, and that is why I am a bit freaky. I absolutely adore Disney, and really am excited. I am also really worried about my boys, and being so far with a slight question mark on their caregivers.

That is interesting about the horses' shoes! I didn't know that! We have been three times in the past five years... I will be sure to pat the drafties.

I don't like to travel either, but it's part of being in a family. Don't ruin everyone else's vacation, even if you'd rather be home.

You could always bring them to Settlement for
the week - we promise to take good care of them.

Oh man, don't tempt me... I actually brought them to a barn last year for two weeks, while I was away. I think if they went to your farm dotneko, they wouldn't come home. That is a lovely place.

I hate travel but would gladly trade places with you. You could bring your horses to my farm and take care of them here as well as my horses.

I love roller coasters the bestest and almost anything in DisneyWorld!

Back in my day, we didn't have as many warning labels because people weren't so dang stupid!
