Default We Lost a Great Vet and Friend Dr. Van Snow

Van Snow who was an amazing vet and an amazing man, died yesterday doing what he loved most.... flying his plane. My heart broke this morning when I learned the news. My deepest sympathy to his family. RIP my old friend.

Gene Lewis told us many stories about his escapades with Van. We met Van about 20 years ago. He took us on a behind the scenes tour of a race farm belonging to a big name TB trainer. It was so nice of him to let us tag along on his work day!

A wonderful man, dad, doctor, and pilot. Van always had time to explain things, his sense of curiosity never left him, his careful thinking about whatever came his way made you always feel you had his undivided attention... he remembered people and horses from years ago because they were all important to him.

A superb veterinarian, innovator, creative thinker... very sad loss to his family and friends.

    Fly high, Van-

OMG, I know him from my times in California. That is so sad. Geez, not only was a great vet, but he was a person that just had such life about him.

I am so sorry to here that. RIP Dr. Snow

Default Did you know he was the one that initially competed napur?

Van Snow owned Napur and then syndicated him along with Monty Roberts. He did compete Napur and had Hap Hansen riding for him. Napur competed under the name of "Van Snow Enterprises".
