These seem to be really hard to find. I know a lot of people have monoflaps, why are there not that many brown short girths out there!? I've checked Bit of Britain, Smartpak (the Toulouse one is apparently not good?) and Dover... no luck.
For the longest time I was looking for a synthetic, dark brown, short girth. They are nearly impossible to find. Forget a fleecy one--doesn't exist. I don't like the wintec girths. I ended up getting one of these from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/THOROWGOOD-AIROF...item20afe349bf
I was able to get a size 24. They come up all the time, so if you want one, just be patient and eventually the size you need will come up.
Prestige makes the short brown. I paid about 120 about 4 years ago. considering I use it about 3x a week it still looks brand new! It's contoured, does not chaff my TB's thin skin. its worth every penny!
I have the BoB Passage girth and I LOVE it. The leather is beautiful, but it does take a few weeks to really soften up and be pliable... though you can't beat the price. I was going between that and the Prestige girth, but went with the BoB and haven't regretted it!

I also have the Prestige girth. It is nice, but a tobacco color, so lighter than I wanted. Plus it was giving Mr. sensitive skin TB girth galls. If your saddle is light or you don't care about it matching, I would recommend it.
I bought a wintec short brown girth for my monoflap. We live in the muggy south so something that I could hose off everyday was a bonus. Anyway I got mine from Bit of Britain. They carry brown ones as small as 20" (which yes fit everything I rode for quite awhile, but not the chunkier appendix I ride now lol)
