I am so excited to have purchased a fabulous Bay Section B Welsh colt named Quicksilver Crescendo from Quicksilver Farms! He is so correct, an awesome mover, and an in-your-pocket attitude.

He is by Lands End Adagio who I absolutely love... out of Beaumaris Fantasia. Melinda has been great to deal with, and this pony lifted me out of a low time in my life.

This is not familiar territory for me, especially all the welsh stuff. I have been fortunate to have met and spoke with so many pony breeders on this board, and all your help has been the best. I got dizzy at the end of the day because one pony was cuter than the next, but "Crush" was the first one I saw... and after many months I wound up staring at him on Melinda's website.

Anyway... any advice and where to show etc would be appreciated. I am really interested in the Pony Futurity.

Welcome to ponyland!! I got my first pony for my 57th birthday! Dreams can come true!

Here's the pony in my grandma. He's by Baledon Nobleman out of a Hillcrest mare.

He has lived here for 12 yrs and I already was his person. I had boarded him for a neighbor and they never did anything with him, I was the one that went out and bought the toys http://s272.photobucket.com/albums/j...t=100_0875.jpg so they finally signed him over to me - on my birthday several yrs ago.

He's 17 yrs old now and I just started the joint meds b/c he's going back to work again - another round of grandkids!

You are going to LOVE having a pocket pony!! It is big people's FUN. Teach him to drive too. You'll have a big silly-ass grin on your face. A pony makes you feel young forever. I'm soooo happy for you!

Good for you! Horses and esp ponies are like crack to me! I can barely live without them and there is nothing that lifts the spirits than a new equine and all the possibilities! Have a fabulous life with him!

I have a yearling by Adagio also. He is out of my wonderful brood mare Apricot Hill by Welsh Hills. She is a buckskin (the real golden color), and my little TEMPO so far is Buckskin. He also is an in your pocket pony and one of the first that visitors pick out from the field.

Melinda is awesome and a pleasure to deal with. She actually had 2 more that I loved with the "blue" line in them... they are fancy as hell, but they are girls!

a little tip dont over feed him hes a native and they can live on air
just good quality hay and if you want to feed him then chaff and few veggies and fruit as these are smart ponies and learn quick
