    Default My trail horse-turned-show-pony

Just wanted to post some pix for those of you who remember my post about buying my first new horse in several years (and wanted pix then). This was his first horse show and he jumped around without batting an eyelash. Remember, he was a dude ranch trail horse until January, so he's really only been doing this for like two months. I think we'd jumped one course before the show weekend. Yes, he was UN-impressed with the two foot jumps, but we were trying to make the first time easy for him. They go up next time!

Thanks! I'm glad you guys like him. I think he loves his new job, when he's not still a little confused. I'm guessing, but with tourists on him before, he wasn't allowed to do much besides walk, so he's still a little amazed we let/make him "go fast" and jump "things".

My trainer found him at a sale (originally for someone else) but he actually came from a local place I'd known of and been to before.
