Default Helmets - Knowing If Your Head is "Regular" or "Long Oval"

I'm looking to buy a Pegasus helmet when they come out this summer, but since I'll most likely be buying online, I'm wondering what size I should purchase.
    here is their sizing info
I have not measured my head quite recently(I will again before I order of course), but if I recall, I measure about 22 1/4" or 22 1/2".
But how do I know if I am "regular" or "long oval"?
I remember hearing that the COs fit oval-ish, and I've borrowed COs that have been extremely comfortable. I also have a Tipperary schooling helmet that is quite comfortable.
    Anyone have any insight?
Is there any kind of standard way to tell your head shape?

When you try on a cheap Troxel and it makes you look like the Great Gazoo and wobbles like a bobble head, you're a long oval.
