Default How long after starting SmartGut could I hope to see an improvement?

My mare has been gassy, bloated, not herself (there is a thread up about it). I recently started her on SmartGut... probably a week ago or so. I still am not seeing any improvement. I have a month's worth, so I will of course give that to her, but how long would you expect it would take until I could see a difference in her? I sort of expected to see a difference by now, but maybe that's unrealistic?

I use Smart Gut, but only after I'd used Ulcergard to heal whatever was going on with her. The Smart Gut is my way of maintenance.

Smart Gut isn't intended to heal ulcers, so if that is her problem I wouldn't expect you to see an improvement. the real test for ulcers is to use Ulcergard/gastrogard -- one full tube a day -- for about a week. That's about how long it generally takes to see an improvement. I haven't read your other thread, so if the issue is not ulcers, then just disregard!
