Can someone check the JC for me?
I used to know a TB called "Galveston Beach" - just wondered if she/he (I can't even remember if it was a colt or a filly!) ever had any starts and who he/she is now owned by.

If it's a grey 2000 model mare (daughter of spectacular bid), she is unraced.

Thank you. Can you tell me if she is still owned by Duane Hunter?

Jockey Club doesn't track ownership.

Oh, I didn't realise that. Does it list a trainer that might be current...or not, if she is unraced?
Here's the thing - that mare was named after a romantic evening spent on Galveston Beach with me!, so I am just kind of curious what she is doing these days :-)

Nope. The only info available is breeder. If she'd raced, you could get her last trainer/owner of record, but since she didn't, there's no way of knowing short of asking the breeder and researching from there.

Since she's never raced..unless you can check sales records if she went through an auction (sorry, I don't know how to do that, but I'm fairly sure someone on here does!) then I would really just call the breeder and see what they can tell you.
And come on, you can't just tease us with a story like that....

I know Galveston Beach, I also know the story...but its not my place. She is still here, in N. Dakota. With Duane, and me, his wife. She never raced, she's had one foal and will be bred again this year, she's a tough breed so hopefully she takes. She's a fruit-cake, very spooky and morderately miserable to be around at times. She's not going to kick a person, or bite a person, but she might accidentally jump onto you out of fear of her imagination. Her brother was a nicer mover than she is, but we don't have him anymore. She is being bred to Formidable this year, and we are going to attempt to sell her, not that there are any takers in ND. I'll have to advertise in the Bloodhorse and see what happens.

She has one foal, a 2011 colt by Dare to Tap. Bred by Duane Hunter and Rachel Hunter in ND.
