Default CEO of Churchill Downs on TV!!

He is starring in "Undercover Boss" now EST! Wonder if he got to see the real 'underworld' of the track side. Going to be interesting to watch.

Ahh the end made me cry... won't give it away for those who haven't seen it yet! I thought it was a good show. He seemed really into trying to make it a better place for everyone to work.

DARN! Don't ya know I've been waiting for this episode, and tonight we had company! I totally missed it! Does anybody know if you can watch it online (like Hulu or some other channel)?

Side note: Do y'all crazy Americans really pronounce it "val-it"? I have never heard it said that way, only the (I assume) French way - "val-eh". Reading the grey/gray thread reminded me to ask!

darn, I forgot about it after reminding myself about it all day!!! May be due to the fact that the kitchen tap stayed in my hand and I could not turn off the water... sigh
Hopefully it was picked up by a Canadian channel and I can see it on line. US channel reruns (like CBS) will be blacked out for me...

I don't say val-it and neither does anyone I know. Colour/color me confused on that too.

The episode should be up on the show's page on the CBS.com website tomorrow/Monday.

I haven't watched it yet, either. But we did DVR it.

At the track, I've always heard "val-it" but everywhere else besides the track, it's pronounced "val-ay".

We wondered about "valet" as well. I was afraid it was along the same line as "Ver-sails".

Great episode! I had to work when it aired, but I watched it online.

Thanks for the heads-up about a need for tissues. Happy tears.

He looked both humbled and amazed working with the "unseen people" who are the nuts and bolts of Churchill Downs. Realizing the value of his employees and without them, he wouldn't have a job. Definitely a "warm & fuzzy" ending!
