    Default How to find info on Karl Niedersuss Symphonie saddle

    I am trying to find information on a KN saddle. The flap is stamped with some letters and a serial number I would like to research. Have not had much luck with Google.
    Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

    Default KN magic decoder ring :)

    The letters are the initials to tell who built/controlled the saddle
    Next two digits are the year of production
    followed by the month of production
    then the serial number
    the next is a letter giving you with channel width
    K2 means padding in the panel behind
    and then two digits giving you the seat size in centimeters

    For example:

    AM MH = initials to tell who built/controlled the saddle
    98 = Year of production 1998
    01 = Month of production January
    18 = Serial number
    W = wide channel width
    K2 = padding in the panel behind
    43= seat size in centimeters
