Ok, so I might be ignorant, but I'm confused about what size the stall grill bars should be. 7/8" and 1", even 3/4" seem common, but these are all for the most part hollow aluminum. I vaguely remember asking about the decorative balusters last summer and read something about 1/2" being too small. Aside from having to use more to keep the spacing close enough, why? (This is where the ignorance part comes into play) how would a 7/8" hollow aluminum bar compare to a 1/2" or 9/16" solid wrought iron bar? I thought wrought iron was a lot heavier duty, no? Solid wrought iron compared to hollow aluminum?
