Default Need Horse and Rider for TV commercial in Louisville

Just got a call from a film producer. He's looking for a horse and rider for sometime next week in Louisville, KY. Male rider should be between 30 and 50 and horse should able to jump over hedges, benches, etc. (playing Paul Revere?) and move at a pretty fast pace down a pavement.

If you're interested, PM me and I will send you the info.

Producer says horse and rider will be paid...don't know how much, though.

    Jump over benches?

    That would be Pat Parelli.
Oh wait, he doesn't actually ride a horse, does he?

Probably an idiotic question, but does the rider have to be white? I know a wonderful African-American man who would do a wonderful job with his gorgeous horse...

I don't know if the rider needs to be white. PM me and I will give you the producer's name and number.

He called us for one of ours (our hunter), but he is way out of shape after this horrible winter and, quite frankly, I don't want to run him on a paved road. And we're female. So, three strikes, we're out. Producer got our name from a jockey friend who was in the Secretariat movie.

I wonder if there is someone with the Woodford Hunt or the Iroquois Hunt that might fit the bill? I have a contact for the Woodford, I'll give him a ring.

Edited to add: My contact is already talking to the film people! Ha ha ha!

We board up in La Grange, and our barn owner asked hubby if he wanted to make a quick and easy $2500 (!!!!) so not sure if that's how much they were paying or not. And no, hubby didn't take him up on it...all of ours are out of shape and don't know how to jump!

No, but that's a good idea, lol. My friend (an African-American man in his early 60s) had already spoken to the film people and had been turned down. They didn't have any interest in rewriting history, they said.
