    Default Bit of Britain Turnouts

Does anyone have experience with the Bit of Britain turnouts? How's the quality and fit? Also, I couldn't find any sizing information. Are they sized like the Horseware products or Dover/Weatherbeeta, etc.?

I'd like to know too, especially with them on TOTD! Do tell!

I have been very interested in them all winter as I'd really like to get my guy a new set of rugs. I've not gotten any, though, as I'm weary of buying rugs from a brand new line. However, someone on another thread mentioned that Shires makes the BoB rugs. If this is the case (and they really, really do look like Shires), then they should be of good quality and well fitting.

So, since I have quite a few Shires, I can say they run closer to Horseware sizing (but slightly beefier...slightly), stay on pretty well (they tend to right themselves most of the time. Every now and then they get a little crooked but not nearly as bad as Weatherbeetas), and are tough enough for MOST horses...my old horse TRASHED a couple of mine, but he was ridiculous one rugs, and some of them were pretty old.

So, if the BoB rugs are really made by Shires, they should be great. I'd like the high neck rugs in something OTHER than that horrible bronze color, though!

One of my boarders has been wearing one of the BoB turnouts all winter and it has held up well.

I like those slots that the surcingles feed through.

I have two Shires blankets and these look IDENTICAL to them! Different colors but the same exact thing.

So how do you measure for a Shires? Is it chest to butt or chest to butt minus 3?

My horse wears a 75 in Rambos and a 75 in Shires. Does that help?
