Default Army Researve Animal Care Specialist?

Anyone done it? Would love to know about the pros, cons and process.

    Thanks!

Well, it's the Army equivalent of being a Vet Tech. The process is just like any other technical MOS. First, there has to be a position open. Second, you have to have qualifying scores on the testing, which isn't hard to do by any means. Third, you just have to pass the enlistment screening and basic training like any other recruit before you get shipped off to the training center for three months.

Thanks guys!! The more I look into this, the more I think it's not right for me. *shrug* Oh well, would have been nice for the extra income and GI bill, but I don't think I am cut out for military life.

It would be hard for me to move (horses and dogs and myself) when told to, and I don't like to have to sign an 8 year contract before you ever start.

I *may* have a problem with commitment and authority...
