    Who are you voting for?
It will be interesting to see where we stand on the COTH boards. Will it be almost even like the rest of the country?

Both of them are pretty bad. But if I were American, I'd be voting for Kerry. Bush is having too much fun playing G.I. Joe http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c.../icon_wink.gif.

All I have to say is THESE ARE CHOICES?

Now , I voted for W. the last time and I can't stand to support a liberal like Kerry, but with some of W's antics, geez, I got a hard time wanting to pull that 'R' lever again. I would consider a Democratic candidate if they had a more centrist one but anyone that is buddies of Ted Kennedy scares me and to think of having that goofy foreigner wife of his as first lady after a class act like Mrs. Bush .....

I just wish BOTH parties would wise up someday and field better people I have to think that we could do better than this.

And Ralph Nader is just a joke so thats no choice.

Kind of like asking someone how they would like to be executed.

That's a CNN/Gallup likely voter number, which is weighted towards the Republicans since for some reason Gallup thinks more Republicans will vote than Democrats. The registered voter number is much closer, with Bush ahead by 2% in Gallup's numbers and well within the margin of error. It's all about Get Out the Vote.

Also, this year Gallup has been the outlier among the polls. According to most polls (Harris, Rasmussen, Newsweek, LA Times, etc.), the candidates are statistically tied, with Kerry leading in most of the battleground states.

You can get the polling data roundup here and Ruy Teixiera at Donkey Rising has the poll numbers and analysis.

And anyone who follows these things can tell immediately who I'm for by my sig line. http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...on_biggrin.gif

Oh don't tell me that http://chronicleforums.com/images/custom_smilies/no.gif I was really starting to consider Canada despite the cold if Tuesday turns out like the election of 2000. Now you are telling me I'm going to have to start country shopping again http://chronicleforums.com/images/cu...ilies/sigh.gif Well I did really enjoy South America...and I have always wanted to go to Australia...hmm...

I have to tell you it is a really sad state of affairs when people stand in line for two hours, check their ballots four times to make sure they *think* they will be counted, and then go home to sit, worry, and wonder if their vote really will be counted when the time comes a week later. And we don't even vote on punch cards in my county.

We have been voting in FL for a little over a week now and have already had SOOO many problems. Not to mention the number of campaign signs that have been stolen and the people being arrested for harassing voters to vote this way and that (had that happen today while we were voting). What has happened to this country http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...n_confused.gif

If you want to treat the terrorist like criminals, in other words find them after they commit a crime (act of terrorism), then vote Kerry.

If you want to treat the terrorist like terrorist, in other words kill them before they commit terrorism, then vote for Bush.

I hope you make the right decision.
