Default How to store leather long-term? (so mold doesn't grow)

I have a trunk in the attic with my back-up chaps, boots, bridles, a few other pieces of tack, etc., and am wondering how to store them long term without growing mold? Giant ziplock bag?

Don't seal the leather in plastic- moisture can accumulate inside the bag. Home Depot/ hardware stores sell a product in a small container to take mositure out of the air and prevent mildew- I can't remember the name of the stuff but it works wonders. My dressing room in my trailer leaks a bit and I was getting alot of mold and mildew- I bought this stuff and have said good bye to the problem.

I think it's called Damp Rid. You can also buy it in little sachet packets that I put in bridle and halter bags. Works great!!!

I clean and condition mine, let everything soak in nicely so the surface is dry and I put it all in a giant tuppaware container, shut the lid and keep it somewhere relatively climate controlled. It won't mold unless there are already mold spores in there and encouraging conditions for them. Easy, works great and you can store stuff for years this way.
