I'm doing a semester abroad in London and am dying without horses...riding in Hyde Park costs an ungodly amount (around $100 American for an hour trail ride). Anyone else in this chilly country right now?!

Short enough to ride ponies but old enough to be in law school. What a life.
Yes! I live in the UK - and there are quite a few people from the UK who post on here. Agree that Hyde Park is a waste of money and time but it's hard to find options in the city.
Richmond Park does have more horses at a (slightly) more reasonable cost but really you need to get out of the city if you can. I assume you don't have transport which might make it harder.
Unfortunately I live about 2.5 hours away from London, otherwise I'd definitely be happy for you to come and ride my horses for me! I think GoesLikeStink may live nearer London (Kent maybe?) It might be worth dropping her a PM to see if she knows any riding stables that are in easy reach of London that you could ride at.
