Default My rescue dog from Sunkissed Acres

I just got back his dna results and we knew two of the breeds to be in the mix, the third is quite the surprise. Reading up on all the traits of the three breeds makes me realize he is the combo of all three. I'm posting his 'lineage' pic so as not to spoil the big surprise (well, at least to my friends and neighbors who all took a guess at his breeding) it's a surprise.

Too funny! Isn't it neat that you can all find out these things now. A friend just had her dog done... he's a stray that just adopted the family. Other than the GSD the rest was a surprise too.

    He's a cutie though!

Where the #&$*(^% did a Borzoi come into the mix? I mean there not common, are they?

I agree with FI--I would have said lab all the way from the pics.

I was going to ask how to find this out on OT. What does it cost to do the test?

Got the DNA kit from petsmart. I think it's around $60. Now I have all my neighbors who own mutts, ready to do the test.

It does sort of fill in the gaps. He's mostly black lab but with loooooong legs and a looooong body and built for speed.

    He's definitely a cutie - nice combination of the 3, I'd say!

I would have guessed Schnauzer though, from the beard. Look can be deceiving!

Must be a shadow but there's no beard. He has a very labby face and body but he's tall and long. He'll fetch the ball like a lab but then keep it like a shepherd , all at rocket speed like a borzoi. I love my mutt.

Maybe his parents were citiods from hotlanta

One of the first pics posted of this guy he looked like he had a beard. Maybe Shadows, but Russian aristocracy, that's something!
