Default I got my interview at CEO!

Just wanted to share the excitement. I go March 6th for 5 days! Do they give interviews to everyone? It kinda seems that way. LOL I was wondering if I was special or if they give interviews to everyone who applys!

Take the list of questions you've been posting on this forum and make sure you ask all of them to Megan and to the current working students. That is where you'll get the best, most accurate information... not out here in random BB land. And if you "don't feel comfortable" or "don't want to waste her time" asking something during your interview, that's a HUGE warning sign that it's not the right situation for you. Your questions are completely reasonable and the people at CEO should be the ones to answer them. If you don't feel comfortable asking about that stuff, you aren't going to be comfortable in the future asking about things that involve the health and safety of you and your horse while you're there training.

    Thanks everyone!

And in person, I will feel more comfortable asking her questions because I know I am there on interview and thats what the interview if for. For both of us to learn if this can work!
    THanks again!

Hey! My farm is a pretty close neighbor with CEO! This is a tight knit group of event riders here in Lexington. Megan works really hard over there, and I love seeing all of her working students working so well together. I don't know how many people she interviews for her working student positions but I do know that it really seems that the ones that are there... REALLY want to be there. I never hear them argueing or seeming burnt out at horse shows. You will learn a lot and even how to construct xc fences. I wish sometimes i could steal some of her WS to come over to my place and build me some jumps!

    Good Luck

Megan is great! She's extremely nice and it definitely rubs off on her working students. They are all really nice, hardworking girls who LOVE being there. I just bought a horse from her two months ago... made the trip out to KY from PA... she was very patient through the process. The facility is beautiful as well! The weekend I was out was the first ridiculous snow storm of the season, so there was actually bits of snow on the ground, but I was still able to go cross country because the footing held well. Good luck!!

Congratulations! You'll have a great time-- I interviewed down there a couple of years ago and though I ended up not being able to take the position due to legal reasons, the interview itself was so impressive and a fantastic learning experience. It's a huge regret of mine that I couldn't work it out in time to accept the position Good luck to you!
