Default Proven upper-level jumper (ntl and intnl) producer in US?

How about a list of proven (multiple offspring, please) national and international jumper producers available via fresh semen? Any help here?

    Landkoenig
    Mezcalero
    Navarone
Roc USA (his offspring have done really well in the YJ program which is a stepping stone to UL)
Orlando (is he still here or in France?)
    Sadly Hailo just passed

I'm sure I'll think of some more.

Need to add Lio Calyon and Riverman

You will probably be better off looking at some really nice sons of exceptional European based (or dead) stallions:

    Darco sons
    Concorde sons
    Heartbreaker sons
    Calido sons
    Cassini I sons
    etc, etc.

I second the following for fresh even though they are COMPLETELY different:

    Quinar
    Mezcalero

but I would add Campesino as Frozen, his frozen is better then some fresh and he was once listed on WBFSH as 25th leading jumping sire.

Are there any Heartbreaker or Calido sons currently available in the US?

    Default Laroche & Riverman

Both Laroche (Concorde-Nimmerdor) and Riverman (Redfort-Landego) are available by cooled semen for the 2010 season and have produced upper-level jumpers.

Isn't Torino a Heartbreaker son? Also, Orlando - I don't know if he's here or in France though. Timebreaker in Canada is by Heartbreaker.

Silvercreek Farm owns Cathalido - he's currently in Germany, but will be back after some showing.

That's off the top of my head - maybe others could chime in with additional examples?

Torino is no longer available. I have a lovely rising yearling from him and would love to have bred back to him.

...one I totally forgot about...duh...silly me...I even work on the horse...Vancouver d'Auvray!!!...just maybe not the right type for the mare I am thinking of.

Will they breed vancouver d'Auvray fresh? I thought he was just frozen?

I've watched him jump numerous times and he is super!

Please give us the scoop on Torino. Our trainer trained him as well and thinks the world of him.

I heard that Vancouver was going back to Belgium for a little while. Maybe this is not correct?

Pablo (Pilot/Matrox) standing at Rainbow Equus has sired quite a few. I am sure Edgar can expand on this.

Chaleon is by Calido (Crooked Willow Farms), but he is most noted for producing Hunters, I understand.

Re: Orlando, he has not been available fresh....I've been enquiring about him for each of the last few years. I have a mare that I've really been wanting to use him on, and have been watching the success of his offspring in France.

Krallen - Orlando's son, Coronado WW is fabulous. I had a Coronado filly in 2007 and she was the highest scoring filly on the BWP tour -really outstanding (and out of a TB mare). She's growing up to be a lovely mare.

There is some super video of him on his owner's site - and, he's ridden by an amateur.

The rest of the pedigree isn't too shabby - he's out of a Kannan daughter, with Sandro on the bottom.

A Fine Romance has a number of offspring competing in the jumpers, one of whom is a winning Grand Prix jumper.
Lips, aka My Romance, now called Southbound, is also a bottle raised homebred FULL TB who was already an Advanced eventer before moving to the jumper ring.
A Fine Romance is based in Canada, however, not the US.

Not sure the scoop on Torino (Heartbreaker/Cassini). Was he sold? He was for sale.

There are a few Torino sons that are standing with fresh at reasonable stud fees. We own Equinox (www.serenityfarmsinc.com) and then there is Elio (in Florida) and Fidelio (in Michigan) as well.

yep, he was sold. Total bummer! I loved that stallion, and he was producing so well. I am just glad that I bred to him when I did.

So will he never be available - gelded and no frozen - or was he purchased by someone who is not making him available to the public? Too bad either way. This is a horse I thought would make an interesting cross on Irish mares.
