Default Is a Thinsulate blanket medium or heavy weight?

Trying to figure out how to work a Thinsulate blanket into my horse's wardrobe.

AFAIK Thinsulate is a brand/type of insulation. How much insulation, or the 'fill weight', will determine light, med, or heavy.

Of course I could be way off base, blankets aren't my thing.
Nearly all of what I post will be controversial to someone. Believe nothing you read on a chat room, research for yourself and LEARN.

Since Thinsulate does not have fill it is a slightly different scale. We have several horses with Thinsulate rugs and they all seem to do well with it as a mid weight.

My SmartPak Thinsulate blankets were advertised as being equivalent to 220 fill. I love the fact they are not as bulky as my other midweights.

Thank you! At this point, I just want to win the lottery big time and go south for the winter...
