So I told Glimmer what was going on with Willem yesterday, and his german side came out (he is half Hanno, half TB you know).
I tried to write it down, I think he said: "erhalten Sie die hohen Oberseiten der convers, sie sind am bequemsten!" Which I think has something to do with Willem's choice of conver's shoes...
and then he said something like: saugt Füße Schmerz. Wann Sie, die Füße besser, ich glauben nimmt Sie tanzend mit meinen Damefreunden, O.K.? Which I think is something about feet and dancing later when they are better... I am not sure, because I tried to repeat it to my mother in law who is fluent but she just looked at me oddly and started laughing. So who knows how badly I butchered the language...
Then his TB side came out, and he is jingling for Willem like he is coming down the homestretch at the Kentucky Derby. It caught on, and now all 10 horses around him are jingling and its' spreading fast...
Take care of yourself Coreene, so you can take care of Willem. That is muy importanto!
Lots of jingles from the East Coast Willem. We could hear them last night as we sat out on the porch for a few moments. They're coming from everywhere, even from places that haven't posted yet. We're with you every minute, Coreene, and hope that brings you some comfort.

Willem - you MUST try LaminaSaver!!!! I know your mother, Coreene, is doing everything humanly possible for you, but please ask her about the LaminaSaver! My good friend has a 5 year old filly who had EVERYTHING wrong with her - BAD puncture wound, foundered BACK foot, contracted tendon surgery on both front legs....her latest Xrays showed that she was actually rotating back upward, and she is totally sound, and being ridden on the flat. Anyway, as everyone else has said - we are Jingling for ya!!

Best wishes from VA - we're jingling - actually, I was jingling until Carson took the curb chain and took off with it - but that probably still counts, as it jingles over the dog's head, down the stairs, and into the kiddie pool.... And my mother wants ANOTHER grandchild???????
Jingles and hugs to both of you. I would say that as long as he's bright eyed and begging, you can count yourself among the top 50%. My 30 year old QH with navicular is dealing with the abscess from hell right now. 3 weeks and counting.
You're both in my thoughts.

Willem: I am jingling as hard as I can and now that my two girls are with me, they are jingling too. Marple is injured and will never be sound again - she says that the lots of loving Coreene gives you will get you through!
Sure hope Willem is feeling better. I cared for a pony with Cushings and he foundered very easily. Sadly, his owner would insist on feeding him terribly bad things (the mashed up apples from making cider, fresh cut lawn grass, corn husks, etc, in large amounts).
Our own dear Galley had Cushings as well, but never foundered so we were spared that agony.
Hang in there, Coreene.
