Default OK Eventers AGM is ON!

Just got an e-mail that the OKEventers AGM at Remington Park in Oklahoma City tomorrow (January 31st) is still ON. Remington's just off I-35/I-44 on Martin Luther King Way so it will be easy to get to despite the recent snow (take the second entrance).
Looking forward to seeing all our southern friends again.

I hope everyone has fun. We are going on day 4 now of no power other than the generator. Matter of fact, I am meeting my brother in Norman to pick another generator up so we can put it at the well out so we can get water. Thank goodness for generators and propane heat!!!

I hate to ask, but what is this AGM? Coincidentally my very ancient gelding raced at Remmington a million years ago with Normie Thomas.

Luckily the roads were clear & dry. There was a great talk on OTTBs by Janelle Williams but there would have been no racing even if a meeting was on - a good six inches at least on the track. Sadly Area V's Chair couldn't be there (Get well soon, Laura!) so OKE had to put up with another Brit Area Chair....

Hope you get power back soon, LSF - you were missed!

Janet's right (as usual) it's Brit-speak for Annual meeting.

Flutie, sorry to hear you won't be able to make Area IV's version - you, too, will be missed.
