    Default Heat Lamps..

Does anyone have heat lamps in their crossties? I am in the midst of making over a 30 year old barn that has had no love.

Looking at my layout, I am pondering with the thought of putting some permanent lamps in.

    Thoughts/tips/tricks?

PS I thinnnnnnk my ceiling is 10ft?? will check tomorrow.

I have them in my wash stall.
But have to extremely carefull, if one drop of water hits the bulb while light is on they explode.

I turn them on after I have washed n rinsed the horse and make sure bulb has no water on it.

But I must say when clipping on a cold day or when farrier comes I warm up the wash stall (oh the electric bill) and everyone is pleased.

I would love a heat bar that is hard wired in from ceiling but thats way at the bottom of my list of wants.
