Stubben saddle
Is a measurement of 32 on a Stubben saddle mean it has a wide tree?

No, I think its a medium to a medium wide. Definitely not a wide, at least not for a Stubben...

I disagree with ashley. A 32 in a Stubben is considered their Wide. It's the last size before going to their XW. My mare needs a wide saddle - current saddle is a semi-custom Wide Albion. The 32 Stubben did work on her - it was me that hated it.

My OTTB went in a 28 when I first bought him off the track-its narrow but not super narrow. 32 is pretty wide.

I had a Beval Gladstone which was 3 yrs old. Medium Tree. That is the same size as the Stubben Roxane, tree size 32.
Both fit my horse perfectly, but he goes 100% better in the Stubben. I believe because the tree points are farther back on the Stubben VS the Beval.
I did have a saddle fitter come out and look at the Beval fit and at the Stubben fit. The Stubben fit better, thats why I ended up purchasing it.
So, there is my 2 cents.
Best of luck in saddle hunting!! I know it is a long and $%*@'y process

I have a key to Stubben saddles in front of me, and I'm showing 32cm being the widest, aside from the 32cm WB. The sizes are 27cm, 28cm, 29cm, 30cm, 31cm, and 32cm, just for reference.

Stubben's Basic Tree Sizes
A = 28cm = Narrow
B = 29cm = Medium-Narrow
C = 30cm = Medium
D = 31cm = Medium-Wide
E = 32cm = Wide
Many who use text messages and email have forgotten the art of capitalization. Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.

Thank you all very much for the replies and the information. I appreciate it very much. I am saddle shopping for a quarter horse and she fit into a wide tree in an HDR saddles which the old owner used on her. I saw a very nice used stubben but was unsure of the tree size as far as width, is is a 32.

Call Stubben North America and ask them. They'll be able to tell you exactly what it is or isn't.
