Default Nice small (14.2hh) mare on CANTER KY

    Ballard

(Somebody posted this on the breeding forum. I thought she'd appeal to eventers.)

I have a serious weakness for small, dark mares but this one is nice and has 'a lot of speed but no interest in racing.' My kind of horse.

She's had 29 starts. Decent pedigree. Damsire is Notebook, who produced a lot of sound, long-lasting racehorses.

Only $500. (Good thing I'm in BC and not in TN right now.)

I could have her picked up for you. Or maybe we should ship her to PWynn. She would know what to do with her!

The above post is an opinion, just an opinion. If it were a real live fact it would include supporting links to websites full of people who already agreed with me.

    Oh, thanks.

What I really need is another 14.2hh black mare. Especially one with a lot of speed. I'd have to take up chuck wagon racing or something.

Yes. Especially when the SO starts asking questions about how many horses I have.

Ohhhhh, a race pony. Someone who point to points and has children should snap her up.

One of my favorite "local" race horses is Snuck By, by Snuck In. He looks a lot like this mare and he's not real big either, but he can run! Always well behaved in the paddock too.

Bumping this because she's so cute and she's still available.

(I would get her -- 14.2hh is perfect for me -- but I can't take on another equine right now. )
