    Default New Pablo filly!

We helped deliver our filly by Pablo out of our imported Argentine mare, Colina Kurda, last night. She is a big filly with very long legs! We are naming her Platinum Edition and calling her "Tatem". Here is a clip of her just hours old!

Congrats everyone! It's great to see all of the new babies! Noble Nellie is getting very close with her Mezcalero baby!

I must admit to loving the pony foal pics the most every year! They are just too cute!

Here is a short youtube video of our Chacco Blue filly out of Joy - I am so smitten with her! I still need a "C" name for her!!!

    Wishing everyone safe foalings!

    Lovely colt!

My vet always says fetal sexing is accurate about 50% of the time... (he doesn't do it as he thinks it's a waste of time)

    Question COTH foals of 2010

This is always one of my favourite threads - I love seeing everyones foals!! Especially since we in the Southern Hemisphere don't start foaling until August/September. Mine aren't due until December - such a long time to wait. I get my foal fix from this thread!

Is someone going to host the COTH foals of 2010 webpage/s this year?

    Default Plaisir d'Amour filly!

My French Kiss mare Tirana gave us a beautiful dark bay filly by Plaisir d'Amour last night. It was her first, she did very well. This one is definitely a keeper!! The photos were taken when she was about 15 hours old. No name yet...any ideas?

Congrats! Two very nice new girls!
And that Landkonig must be super tall if the mare is 17.3!!!

Well, my friend that breeds appaloosa's has had an interesting start to the year... I won't go back into the first foal, since it has it's own thread, but his 2nd and 3rd mares foaled. Third was a full QH, lovely palomino filly, easy birth, great mother, yadda yadda... 2nd was another appy. They pinched a twin on her last year as she aborted triplets (yes triplets!) the year before. They checked and re-checked and checked a 3rd and 4th time for any more embryos. She went into labor, popped out a very pretty chestnut colt, no white, no spots. (curses!). Then laid back down and popped out a buckskin (?) colt with a blaze, socks and a blanket. He is TINY. And alive and well and living in my friend's living room. He is so small he can't reach the milk bar. They did milk the mare so he got colostrum, his IGG came back great, and he's loving his Foal-Lac. I am in LOFF! Will kill you all with the cuteness here!
