    Default Runners vs. Riders

    Hi there COTHers,

    I don't remember a runner at the Tevis Cup - I remember the first "Levi Ride and Tie" race sometime back then, where you were supposed to share the horse in relay fashion. IIRC there were problems with it, a couple of horses didn't do too well, and it morphed into a team endurance race with both (all three to be picky) partners doing what they did best.

    Still pretty cool, hats off to everybody with the fortitude to do it.

    Default Riders/Runners

    I've read accounts of the Massanutten Mountain, it sounds unreal!!! Volunteering at these events is a real eye opener to the human psyche
