lol. I was pointing out something similar in a Ralph Lauren ad to a non-horsie friend the other day.
She noted that surely *someone* involved with the horse in the ad should know how to put a basic piece of tack on, right? The person who trailered the horse to the shoot? The owner of the horse? The person handling the horse at a shoot? Boots and a bridle are pretty hard to get wrong for someone with basic skills.
They are using a photo of me and a sales horse for a new quine type complex. The fun part is that While I was dressed to show that day the horse was just being introduced and was never supposed to go into the ring, he literally had just retired from racing the day before. They just asked me to get on and show him to some people there. The photographer took a few pictures though and they ended up using it for advertising. No noseband, nylon racing bridle, yoke and a poofy green saddlepad.
