I don't know if this is too far for you to go, but there is a trainer in Northern Ohio who I have heard good things about. His name is Jeffery Taylor, owner of Blue Ridge Farm. I have had several friends send their young/green/problem horses there & he has sent them back as well behaved & trained event horses. Sorry I don't know more, but I do know he has a website. Hope this helps, good luck.

Susan Posner is really good with the flatwork stuff, and really really reasonable.

Also check out Michelle Zimmer at Robert Murphy stables. She's Ralph Hill's niece and puts a very good base on them. Also very reasonably priced.

    Default Young Horse

Hey there! I am an advanced level eventer and professional jockey and have broken babies for some of the best in the country (Dogwood, Stephen's TBs, etc). I am located in Lexington, KY and would be happy to take your guy on. I am very economical and only work with babies/young horses small time, so I can offer lots of individual care and attention. I broke all of Karina Busch's babies of Halcyon Hill in Etown this year and can offer lots of references. I am currently breaking babies for Ken and Sarah Ramsey but have my afternoons to work my own horses. Let me know what you are hoping to accomplish with this guy and if you think we can work something out.

I also recommend Megan Lanzarone, though she's going by Megan Moore now. I just purchased a young horse from her and he was started beautifully.
