    Default "Megan's Choice" bedding pellets?

Anyone used these? They showed up at the TSC in place of my beloved Equine Fresh pellets. I bought four bags because I need them for outside and for general stuff, but I'm sure hoping they're as good as the Equine Fresh. Anyone tried them and care to make a comparison?

    Thumbs down

Me no likee! They are NOT the same, not as absorbent and don't last as long.

I complained and they brought back the Lone Star pellets, now they have some other brand which is a little better, but not as good as Lone Star. I have never tried the Equine Fresh. One time they even tried to give me the Megans Choice instead of the Lone Star that they had on the shelves. I wouldn't take them!

i just bought a bag to try last week and i'm not wild about them either. i feel like i had to take every single one i added to my gelding's stall (i mix with the fine america's choice shavings) the next day. my mare pees in the same spot every day so i'm still putting them in her stall where she goes, but i'm not giving my gelding any more. seems like a waste.
My mare wonders about all this fuss about birth control when she's only seen a handful of testicles in her entire life. Living with an intact male of my species, I feel differently! WAYSIDE

Bummer. Well, I will just use them outside then, where they get ground up into sawdust rather than using them as pee-soakers in the stalls. At least they were on sale.

Are you telling me the TSC is no longer carrying Equine Fresh?

I may shoot the messenger so answer carefully

I can only say there were no EF pellets there today.
