    Default Jingles for RunForIt needed!

Our own RunForIt was cantering her beloved Rasta along a fenceline at her farm when the neighbors' kids flew by in a speeding golf cart. Rasta bucked and bronced, and RFI fell on her head and neck. Her husband was close by and ran over, and found her conscious and talking. After he helped her to her feet, however, she complained of dizziness and nausea.

She was taken by ambulance to the local ER, where they diagnosed a broken neck. She was then flown by helicopter to a major hospital in Atlanta.

We are unbelievably lucky that she is not paralyzed. She will not be having surgery and will instead be wearing a halo vest for several months. If all goes well in the next several days, she will be able to go home.

As you can guess, it will be a long road for her. COTH jingles have helped many people and horses-- please send as many as you can. If you would like to send cards, PM me and I will give you her mailing address.

Major league jingles. So glad that they caught it before any major damage was done to the spinal cord!

Oh no....my best buddy KarenC went through a very similar scenario a few years ago and had to live in a halo.

Many jingles, RunForIt. Cookie Pony, if we send curb chains, will you hang them off her halo? THAT will get attention wherever she goes!

Wow - I am so glad she is going to be okay and that she got quick and GOOD medical attention. Would you hug her husband for me!

I know it will be a long road, but at least it will bring her back. HUGE JINGLES!

The above post is an opinion, just an opinion. If it were a real live fact it would include supporting links to websites full of people who already agreed with me.
