    Default Thanks, you guys

I knew you'd understand. Amazing how a photo can cause such a wild swirl of emotions, isn't it? So often I'll still think "Oh, I must tell Millie," and then realize that she's no longer here. Do you know she never saw the www in action through a computer, but she saw the results of the COTH BB time and again and met quite a few members.

Who ever out there thinks that beauty belongs just to the young is out of their cotton-pickin' mind. The beauty of that snap is not only in every line...of each...but also comes from within.

"We each owe a death..." and HOW we arrive at that destination, whether King or pauper, is another matter completely. I just hope, and pray, it will be close to where Millie and Copper were when their picture was taken.

    Thanks, Coreene ... it's a wonderful gift you've shared.

Lovely story, Coreene. Thank you for sharing. The respect, love, and compassion for her horse just shines out. A lesson for us all.

Wow, what a stunning picture. I can only hope, one day, 50 years from now there is a similiar picture of me and my horse.

Very moving story & photo. Thank you.

What a gift those two must have been. I can only imagine the wonderful memories and the Kodak Moments of the heart. Those lovely things that live inside us where we can revisit them from time to time.

They were quite fortunate to have had you in their lives Coreene! As are many others!

What a lovely photo and even more lovely story, Coreene. Thank you for sharing. This old battle axe sniffled a little, and I don't do that often.....

Just a truly touching story and tribute. I hope one day, when i am gone, someone sees that kind of beauty. I hope I leave friends like you behind. Yes, I will.

Love that picture of the two of them together in the stall. It is a special place and I am so happy to be there. I'm sure Millie and Copper would approve.

Smile Willem also owes her a large debt of gratitude

She saw his Thousand Yard Stare and raised the alarm. I got there, saw it too, called the vet and then said to Millie "No heroics, we're done." Very matter of fact shes said "Welll of course. This it be right." A very warm ray of sunshine from a true horsewoman. A toast to all our gallant friends!
