Hey all- wanted to post, we adopted three nice geldings out a couple of years ago- the couple who adopted were hit by the economy and are losing their farm. We will take them back here as soon as we can- which will make things over full at the farm- but IF we can find suitable homes beforehand, we will let them go for $1- each.
#1- 16h black bay TB gelding, 2001 model, totally sound, could do anything, more of an event type IMHO. Easy to ride, white star.
#2- 16.1h 2000 bay gelding, originally had fractured a sesamoid at the track, has healed well and been totally sound- lots of trail experience with advanced beginner rider, he can jump but we would prefer he didn't do a whole lot of it. Finally,
#3- a lovely bay gelding who is the worst toed out horse we have ever ever ever seen- I am not kidding- and he has a couple of old set bows- but he is lovely to ride, very supple and sensible, and moves straight. Whoever broke this guy did a fantastic job- he also has a great personality.
Owners are devastated and wish they could all stay together but we told them that would be highly unlikely. For information call us 302-376-7297 or email Bev@MidAtlanticHorseRescue.org
