Having a really hard time finding shaped pads to fit a forward flap CC saddle. Any suggestions?

Have you tried an all purpose pad? I bought a Wilkers AP pad and got it one size larger than my saddle size. It has worked well.

I have a hard time finding square pads as well; they never seem to be long enough from front to back.

Horse Country in Warrenton, Va has shaped pads made for the Jeffries Flyover- might work for your saddle. I think about $50 each, have the grippy things on the withers and girth loops. PM me, if you're interested, I'm not using them.

Somebody just posted this on another thread: http://www.beval.com/Products/Butet-...d/4045100.aspx
After you select a size, you get to chose forward or regular flap as well as short/reg/long.

Thanks guys. I did call Beval and ordered the butet contour pad in a forward flap and one size up in the seat - on their recommendation. Hope it works.!

    Still open for suggestions.

Of course if you want to spend some $$ you can always look at a custom forward flap pad at Seamsright.com

Not to change the topic, but how do you all keep your white pads clean without shrinking them? I've gotten several that fit until I washed them, then they were too small.

So I got the Beval fleece pad. It's not my favorite type of fleece but it will do for schooling. I ordered an 18" because most pads are too small in the seat area for my 17" saddle. I probably could have gone with the 17" in this pad. The forward flap works well though.

I do think this is the same pad that Equusnow sells (wilkers) that you can customize. I'll probably get one from them in a 17" and see how that works. Theirs is also cheaper.
