    Question ISO bath accessories!

I am looking for towel bars, TP holders, etc. that are horse-y. I do NOT want western decor; but English/equestrian things.

There are plenty of cowboy-style items, but that's not my thing. I did find some on one site, but the towel bar was over $250.00 EACH.

Any ideas? I'm not having much luck on Google. Thanks!!

Horse and Hound. Gorgeous stuff, but can be a little pricey.

here's a link to their bathroom decor: http://www.horseandhound.com/get_list_126.htm

Also try Back in the Saddle

There's a whole bath section under "home decor"

I went into a friends powder room and she did the most creative things with a snaffle bit, stirrup and such. I don't remember the TP holder but I think it was standard. Go to a tack exchange and pick up some inexpensive tack and clean it up and mount it to the wall to hold towels and hand towels. Cheap, easy AND authentic.

Have you tried googling different descriptions? "Equestrian bathroom accessories", "horse towel bars", etc. You'd be shocked at how accurate the results can be.

I do custom orders (many designs similar to Horse & hound) like this. I can do toothbrush holders, tumblers, lotion pumps, tile, anything porcelain. Items average $5-$10 each. All orders are custom, you pick the design.

    Default Why not go authentic?

Like NCdressage suggests - you can do a lot with real horse stuff.

Dover has a lovely line of brass accessories including horsehead and English saddle-shaped hooks & blanket bars that could make nice towel bars.

You'd have to add some sort of marine coating as the humidity in a bathroom would tarnish the brass eventually. Your local Home Depot could tell you what to use.

And then add items from NJrider ; )

A stunning horse head towel rack, and also some shower curtains that might suit, at http://store.horsegiftsandart.com/bathroom.html. The towel rack qualifies for the free shipping coupon that is up today, too!
