    Default ERU - Moonblindness

    Never dealt with this before - two questions;
    Is it contagious?
    Is it genetic/hereditary?

    Depends on the cause. If it is an Appy then it is genetic. If it is parasite /bacterial caused (i.e leptospirosis) then that is a different issue.

    Not only Appys carry it genetically... other breeds can too but it is most common with Appys. It can be genetic in warmbloods as well.

    Also OP it is NOT contagious.
