BO has identified a 2-year old prospect she likes in the greater Spokane area and would like to fly out to meet him.
The problem is this -- I am having a tough time finding enough prospects to fill all the "white space" in our schedule. We are three time zones away and it would be nice to maximize the probabilty of finding more than one we could PPE. (Yes, BO is looking for more than one).
Do any of you folks have any suggestions about how I could generate leads on hunter prospects in the greater Spokane area? Are there any "Eastern Washington" breeder's organizations that I could contact? How about a website or magazine that caters to the H/J community in that geographic region?
The "mileage" search feature and the "state" search feature on websites like equine.com, warmbloods-for-sale, etc. didn't generate any meaninful leads.
Not sure what's in Spokane as far as hunters go but have you thought about checking out the west side of the mountains while you're this close. Many flights to Spokane will hub through Seatac airport and I'm sure Sylvan and I can come up with quite a list of us that have nice hunters on this side of the mountains. I know our farm is only 1/2 hr from seatac....
