Trailer brake (in "cab") when towing with motor home?
Do you need a trailer brake in the cab when you are towing with a motor home? I have one in my truck, obviously, but my trailer weighs as much as my truck. (Steel, two-horse slant bumper pull.) I can't imagine the motor home ever having a problem stopping the horse trailer. (The trailer will have the break-away brake attached to the motor home.)
Any ideas? Any tips for towing with a motor home (A-class, about 33 feet long)?
You need a brake controller in the truck if you have electric brakes on your trailer. Your motorhome may be prewired for the controller and it may be as simple as plugging one in. http://www.brake-controllers-usa.com/
