Default Two more candidates for the death penalty for horse abuse

Everytime I think I've heard the worst abuse case, something new pops up. This was from The horse.com:

Two British Columbia men were charged with animal cruelty in allowing a 27-year-old Appaloosa gelding to starve, then they tied "its neck to the bucket of an excavator, then raising it so the horse was off the ground. It died from strangulation," according to a report at vancouversun.com.

The two men face maximum fines of $10,000, up to five years in jail, and a prohibition against owning animals, according to the article.

    Godspeed, Benjamin (1998-2014). A life well-lived. A horse well-loved.

Oh, I go for the same old dame old. Harvest their organs for donation, and if that isn't possible, use for a clinical trial for a new med or surgery. That's after their assets are given to the owner or to a local rescue.

I say there be a prohibition against them keeping their hands and legs...I am all for public hangings of animal cruelty criminals.

It boggles my mind that a human being can be so viscious to an innocent animal. just sick...

Lordy, I don't think I'd WANT their nasty old organs. I'd rather die, I think.

I don't understand why the horse wasn't confiscated when he was first discovered in that condition.

Obviously the pictures were taken by the Authorities, no?

Horrendous! I just can't imagine it! I'd hang them from the bucket of a tractor and let them strangle. An eye for an eye...
