I've heard of him and he's cute. Not the biggest step, and a little knee action, but I'm going only by the two videos posted.

*Edited to add I have seen him in person at one (maybe two) Virginia shows. He mostly showed in North CArolina if I remember correctly.

He won a good bit on the line. I think he is also broke to ride and a little kid was riding him. Also pretty sure, he went this past season to get a record at the welsh shows--so you may want to check that as well. He sure is cute!

How big is he and how big is your mare?? I would agree with VB as he seems to have a bit of a short step, but is also very cute..

I have seen him in person within the last year. He is quite correct. I have not seen the video with which all your generously offered opinions appear to have not been seen in the flesh are being judged from, which as we all know can be deceiving both for good and bad. You can pm me if you like.

I have seen him at several shows, and I edited my original post shortly after making it to say as much.

I too thought from the video he seems to have a bit of a short step, but I am not too familar with pony hunter either and though I should ask. I want to have the best pick possible for my mare... better to ask then not.

i very much agree that u-tubes are very hard to judge the finer details about a horse or pony. Especially, when being ridden by a small child--a child who would have no idea how to get the most out of a trot or step or anything for that matter, but is regardless by sheer nature showing us how kind this boy is. U-tubes can be good, but they can also be bad when the viewers focus in on something negative. So, with technology-everyone wants instant gratification with a video... yep,can be good;, and yep, can be bad if the best foot is not put forward so to speak.
I would recommend that anyone considering him, go see him in PERSON. I have no ties to this stallion and I do not have ties to any small welsh stallion, nor am I in the market for one to use, but if I was-- this pretty boy would be one that I would go see -with his color and his looks, he is a sexy pony!
