    Default Hart trailers?

What can everybody tell me (good and bad) about Hart trailers? I have a friend that is considering trading in her 1994 Trail-Et New Yorker for a 1998 Hart 2 horse straight load. I'm concerned because the Hart has an aluminum frame, and you can't necessarily tell when the aluminum is weakened. Personally, if I were in an accident with a trailer, I would prefer one with a steel frame. Any comments? The Hart appears to be in excellent, well-cared for condition. It's not much heavier than her current Trail-Et.

My boyfriend has a Hart (gooseneck, 2-horse slant load with "weekender" living quarters). I think his is a late nineties or early 2000-year model and he hasn't had any issues with it.
