Horseless Rider in So. Palm Beach County, FL
Hi all!
Horseless rider in the southern Palm Beach County, FL area looking for a 1-3x per week ride in order to re-build my strength and stamina.
I've been a hunter/jumper rider for about 20 years, although I've taken the past few years off since my horse retired and I relocated from IL to FL.
Riding down here is CRAZY expensive, and I'm on a tight budget (because everything else down here is expensive, too!), so I'm hoping some nice COTHer can help me out.
I live in Boynton, work in Delray (east). Willing to go as far as West Palm or Fort Lauderdale (incl. Davie/Weston/SW Ranches).
Please send me a PM or better yet, email me at horselessrider28 at gmail dot com
Thanks!!!!
It may seem like I'm interested in what you're saying, but in my mind a bipedal wolf is chopping down a totem pole while yelling "BO-RING, BO-RING, BO-RING."

Horseless Rider in North AL
Hi all! I'm an eventer and dressage rider in north Alabama looking for a horse to ride a few times a week. I've recently competed successfully at training level in eventing and 1st level (schooling all 2nd level) in dressage. I have a lot of experience with young/green horses, and brought my last horse along with the help of my trainer. I would love a chance to ride a horse I could jump, but just dressage would be fun too. I work at two part time jobs and will have a somewhat random schedule, but I'm willing to work whatever out.
I'm located near Huntsville, and am willing to drive depending on the horse/situation. Let me know if anyone has a horse they'd like to get a little more work! I can give riding references if you want them.
Thanks!

All mares so need to be a "mare person." Warmbloods that range in age from 5-18.

Horseless Rider Silverspring/DC area
I sold my horses, truck and trailer last August in order to attend University of Maryland, College Park for what else equine studies. I kept the majority of my riding stuff, and would love to find something to sit on.
Before coming to school I was working as a barn manager, and have spent lots of years as a working student and professional groom. I brought two of my own horses up to training level eventing, and have ridden numerous others. I am not picky at all, and I will ride anything, OTTB's are my favorite and the ones I'm most experienced in exercising! Fabulous references working in and around Maryland!
So if anyone needs a body to hack out your horse(s), exercise it, or anything more, please let me know.

Riderless horse--middle TN
Still looking for a rider for Rhys, a 14.1 hh Connemara/Arab cross gelding. He's not stocky, so needs a smaller rider (below 160 lbs). He's fairly green and was poorly started so needs some re-training work, but he's fun to ride and a sweetie. Looking for someone experienced w/ green horses. I have lights at my riding arena, access to trails, and the right person could really benefit!

Horseless rider Central OK
Hey folks! I moved to central Oklahoma to attend veterinary school and brought along my lovely TB, who promptly became the World's Most Interesting Neurologic Case and is not rideable at the moment. I am also losing my MIND not riding and would love to find something locally - I love TBs, but am happy to sit on just about anything, even the young and stupid variety.
I have been riding hunters/eq/jumpers with some dressage for almost 20 years, have trained a couple of my own up from green, worked at numerous barns, and taught for many years. Please please please PM if you have something that wants some extra saddle time!
OTTB owner.

Riderless horse near Twin Cities MN OR Bloomington IL
Due to a change in her job situation, my horse's lease situation is ending. She is currently across the river from the TC area, in WI; I am near Bloomington IL and will bring her down here if I don't find anything up there!
15.2, 20 y/o TB mare. Well trained, has done hunters, dressage, low level eventing, PC, etc. Good manners, easy to deal with, no special needs other than soaked grain and blanketing. Loves to jump, sane and fun!
looking for full free lease if stays up north, or 1/2 to full if she comes down here.
****Indecision may or may not be my problem****

Horseless Rider-Horry County/Myrtle Beach SC
I am going down south in a few weeks and I know I will have at least three days during my 10 day stay that I will have off of work but nothing to do. I am visiting my boyfriend and he will be busy between the hours of 8a-6p, I am planning on working from his house but there will be some days I do not have work and he will be gone all day. I would love to ride if anyone's horses could use schooled. I am a very experienced rider, great with green/young horses as well as the experienced show mounts. I have been a working student for a few trainers in the past but did not go pro due to financial circumstances. I would be able to provide photos as well as professional references.
While it will be nice to get away for 10 days I hate to miss that much time in the saddle! The only catch would be that I won't have a car while on my trip. Opinions and suggestions are always appreciated. We may even be able to establish a relationship as there is a chance I will be in town every few months.
Thanks!

Dressage/trail Horses 1/2 -full lease - Chicago area north
I have more horses then I can/want to ride everyday. Sane, sweet, nice to be around, some very competitive dressage. Training to PSG, some are excellent on trails as well. Farm offers indoor/outdoor, easy access to trails. Very private quiet facility. Come relax and enjoy
Located near I94 so super easy to get to.
Horses should be trained in such a way that they not only love their riders, but look forward to the time they are with them.

Horseless Rider in DC - Female, 40s, looking to start riding again
Hi,
I am in my early 40s, live/work in NW DC, 5'7" 160 lbs (although I am trying to work on that!). Rode Saddlebreds as a child/teenager, taken hunt seat lessons on/off, and rode western on vacations. I am a beginner but have very soft hands and quiet legs.
I want to take lessons, I don't think I will be interested in showing, I'd like to find a barn where I could eventually board. I would like to lease or ride to make sure I am committed, then I would like to adopt (preferably) or buy.
I've taken a few lessons at Rock Creek, but with no boarding I don't think it is a long term option. I am just starting to investigate barns in Maryland (I think VA is too tough of a commute) as well as rescue organizations.
Even if you don't have a riderless horse, if you have any advice, I would definitely appreciate it! I can be reached at kellyessman (at) gmail dot com.
Thanks!

Young Rider in AL Needs H/J/Event Packer
I'm posting this for a young friend who has just had to retire her 20-something guy. She is looking for a new horse but her parents can't afford going prices in this area for a been-there-done-that horse who can help teach her jumping.
So I'm looking for a horse she could ride, maybe lesson on, get some more experience O/F on a horse who can teach her something.

He's very happy there.
Just looking for someone who might want a horse to hack around. I need someone with experience as he can get hot and a little spooky at times. He's got his quirks, but is a pretty good boy and well broke despite being out of shape. I showed him in the Childrens then Low A/O jumpers before stopping showing about 4 years ago. I've owned him since he was 3.
He's a fun horse to ride and you wouldn't need to pay me anything - maybe just chip in on grain every once in awhile.
Send me a PM if you're interested - thanks!

Hello,
I'm a horseless rider that is located in South Central Massachusetts near Worcester. I'm looking for some riding time on a horse that needs exercise. I'm 33, and have been riding for 20 years. My main concentration is dressage, I've worked with Melanie Tenney, Denny Emerson, Lendon Gray and ridden at Kathy Connelly's barn. I also hold British Horse Society qualifications. I have been out of the equine scene for about 8 years due to family commitments.
I would be happy to bring your horse back into condition, whilst getting myself back into condition Please send me an email if we sound like we could be a good fit together.

Madison, WI- 2 options
10 year old forward but sensible Rocky Mtn horse. (Gaited) Near trails. Fun good ride for an intermediate rider.
Coming 2 year old needs work on the ground, line driving, etc Very open to someone just coming to play with him and pay attention to him.
Both are friendly, no vices, the colt obviously needs some quiet calm handling but would be a perfect project for someone who wants to spend time brushing and playing.

Horseless rider in Akron, OH
I am an adult rider and have been riding for 3+ years now, mainly english and am starting in dressage. I am looking for a horse who needs someone to exercise and give him lots of scratches. I have mainly ridden Saddlebreds, and love them but would be willing to try other breeds, drafts, arabians, morgans. I would also be looking to lease if that is something you are looking for as well. I am located in the Akron, OH area, very near to Fairlawn.

Riderless Horse in Hillsborough, NC
I have a 15hh paint mare who is currently riderless. I have another horse and I simply don't have time for two. I would really like to free lease her to someone. Basically, use of the horse is free, but you take care of board and her feet. She is sound barefoot and only requires trims. Her background is eventing, but could be a jumper IMO. She'll jump anything and really doesn't have a spook in her. Please PM me if you are interested!
