Saw these products on the Equestrian Collections website. Has anyone used them? They make blankets, sheets, saddle pads, etc. I don't know, after reading the description, I can't buy that it actually works.
This is the description:
The Draper Equine Therapy product is manufactured with an innovative and revolutionary fiber, Holofiber®/Celliant™ that redirects natural energy the body emits to lessen negative symptoms and improve the body's own natural systems.
Crushed gem stones and minerals are imbedded in the fiber during the manufacturing process. The energy emitted from the fabric redirects energy within your horse's body. This energy relaxes the capillary beds to improve circulation of oxygenated blood throughout the body. These products enhance the horse's abilities to heal and rejuvenate itself after exertion, stress, or injury.
This smart fiber has been clinically proven to increase the circulation of oxygenated blood in the body by up to 29%!
I got a sample of one at a trade show that I use frequently. In fact, I'm about to wrap it around my knee right now post workout, since I have some *ahem* joint issues haha. I'd love to get a knee wrap from them so I don't have to wrap the little towel-like sample.
I don't know how much it helps, but I find that if I put it on post workout I don't get as sore the next day.
Worry, doubt, fear and despair are the enemies which slowly bring us down to the ground and turn us to dust before we die.
If you'd like the full studies I would be happy to email you the full details, here are the links though to the abstracts online and the last study that has now been peer reviewed. I also included a link for a video that has some of the researchers speaking in it.
I have several Draper items... Tina Butler of Equine Edge sells them, and I pretty much trust anything she sells! I wear a pair of the human socks every night in bed and I can really tell a difference in my sore/tore up ankle if I skip a couple of days.
The pillow wraps are great! They leave legs nice and tight.
