    Default Belly guard girth?

Any recommendations for a decent quality yet reasonably priced belly guard girth? There don't seem to be a lot of different options out there...

Have you thought about getting one of the girth attachments that slip on with elastic? The aren't as 'seamless' looking, but they're definitely a heck of a lot cheaper!

Of course if I could have any belly guard in the world, it would definitely be the Antares! *drool*

I just bought a gorgeous one with the criss-crossed elastic on both sides, with fancy stitching on the leather for about $150. It was from a vendor's booth at a show in Toronto. Can't think of the name right now but I'll look when I get to the barn.

My DH was a bit ticked because he had just bought me a sheepskin lined belly guard girth for over double that amount the week before.

I would check with Dover, they have some nice ones that are reasonable.

i bought an attachment, I bought a hadfield attachment, I love it, the sheepskin is so soft and doesn't get dirty, also the leather is so incredibly soft! It also has buckles on it so you don't have to take off your girth to pull off the gaurd.

    good luck

Prestige has some very nice ones. The Pro-Tech is really cool, but they have others as well.

I have one made by Monarch. It's decent and I believe it was $50 new (I bought it second-hand).

I'm a fan of the Amigo's. Mainly because it's hard to find black tack and they come in black: http://cgi.ebay.com/Amigo-Girth-Stud...d=p3286.c0.m14
