http://www.gerlltd.org/adopt.htm I did a quick search for Georgia horse rescues and came up with this. Maybe they'd be willing to let you foster and have a buddy for your weanling. That's a horse off their hands, and a free horse who doesn't live with you indefinitely for you?
My 2 year old is with a weanling right now, they're best buds. I was going to go pick her up and bring her down to school with me so I can get some ground work/free jumping done with her, but if you can find a way to get her from Dallas, TX to you, then she can go for a while... but I bet you can find something closer.
Have no idea where you are located, but I have a 2 year old pony filly (she's 12 hands ish right now) that you are more than welcome to use for however long. She currently is out 24-7, is easy to handle and would be more than happy to be out on grass. Feel free to PM me

I am not sure where you are located but I live in Louisville and I have a 17 year old ex-eventer that loves to be out-can graze 24/7 and used to babysit yearlings before I got him-he has even got some of my OTTB to stop walking the fence. PM if you would like-I would be happy to bring him to you or maybe meet you somewhere anytime now.
