Default FINALLY made it to my GOV inspection! *pics added*

As many of you remember, I was the one that missed my GOV inspection earlier this summer, due to a "miscommunication" w/ the host. I was pretty upset and it caused quite a brouhaha on this board. However, I made it to the Kansas inspection site today and I wanted to publically thank the hosts (Jennifer at Konza Prairie Dressage and Earl at High Horse Stables) and registry officials for hosting a beautiful, efficient and friendly event. Hoping that they continue to use this site and am looking forward to returning. It all worked out for the best, as my Mezcalero colt received a premium designation AND a "foal of distinction" award, with many very positive comments and the reccomendation to repeat the breeding. So thanks to all involved!

ETA: Candids taken at home after the inspection. No help to take photos while we were there; hopefully the site host got some good ones!

Congrats! And I agree w/ Oakstable that he looks like he's going to be a big boy.

I never try to make a serious prediction, b/c it is so hard to tell! However, he is pretty leggy, but not any larger than many of my other foals. His sire is big, of course (I think listed as 17.2), but the dam is a short-coupled 16.1. If I had to guess, I would say in the 16.2 to 16.3 range, but who knows!

Very handsome baby! I think he looks quite big and mature already too. Lovely boy and congrats on the results.
