I am trying to find a home for my 24 year old Appaloosa mare.
She is a wonderful horse and is used for childrens lessons at our stable. She was my daughters first horse and she has now advanced to a more challenging horse for her ability. We board three horses and my husband would like us to get down to 2 because of the expenses.
She does have some mild arthritis for which she takes Cosequin supplement, she has to take it or she does get stiff. If she is on the Cosequin she moves great and loves to be ridden. Sometimes some spring allergies which requires medication.
She is a white varnished appy and is 14.1 hands. She is wonderful on the trail and is a 100 % safe horse on the trail or for kids lessons. My daughter has also competed her in some fun shows and placed really well. This horse knows the ropes.
I think she would be a wonderful first horse for a child. (Alot of beginner adults at our stable always pick her to ride on the trail) I will be very selective on her next owner because she is very dear to my family. PM me and I can send pictures or email you. We are located in the Akron area of Ohio. I just added video although the site runs the video a little fast.
