    Default Jump Height Question

What is the jump height range for the high A/A jumpers? And what is the jump height range for the low A/O jumpers? Someone asked me the difference between the two and I had no idea, b/c back when I used to show there were just the A/As and the A/Os.

    Thank you!!

The AA jumpers are a Zone rated division & it might vary. Here in Zone 5 they are 1.10-1.15.

The low AO jumpers probably are starting 1.20 then?

Low AO Jumpers can be run from 1.15m - 1.30m (3'9" - 4'3"). Don't even get me started on how I feel about a 1.15m or 1.20m class counting as an AO Jumper class. When I was a junior that was the Mod Jr/AOs (actually, lower than the MoJAMs).

I believe that 1.35m counts towards High AOs which can be run from 1.35m-1.45m.

It is not a huge difference in height, but the ride required for each is very different.

It depends a littel bit on the Zone and the specific show.

    At HITS Culpeper-
    Low A/A = 1.0m 3'3"
    High A/A=1.1m 3'7"
    Mod Jr/Am = 1.15m 3'9"
    Low A/O =1.3m 4'3"
    High A/O = 1.4m 4'7"

So there is an 8 " difference between High A/A and Low A/O.
