    Default Fort Collins - Farriers?

Trying to find a good farrier here in Fort Collins, CO for my horses has been really difficult and frustrating. I can't seem to find a farrier (after 3 years here) that can do a trim without making my horses go lame for several days to a few weeks

Can anybody recommend somebody who can do good quality trims on sport horses? In addition I have a horse that just injured one of her hooves pretty good which will require special care so I want to make sure whoever I get next will be knowledgeable and won't make a bad situation worse... ideas?

I had the same problem when I first moved here! I finally found Joe McClellan, Iron Hoof Horsecare. He does an incredible job on my three and now half the barn uses him! he loves his job and is incredibly knowledgeable about farrier & barefoot work, holding many certifications. Check out his website

he's based in loveland but travels pretty far.
    good luck!!

Five year old thread, folks. I'm sure the OP has found a farrier.
